Make your birthday party an unforgettable experience with our 2-hour Birthday Bushcraft Session! Perfect for kids, teens, or adults, this hands-on celebration combines fun, learning, and adventure in a natural setting.
What to Expect -
Beginner Friendly: Whether it’s everyone’s first time trying Bushcraft or your group is just looking to enjoy the great outdoors, our session can be tailored for beginners and seasoned nature lovers alike.
Fire Craft: Learn the art of fire lighting using natural materials. Build and maintain your own fire under the guidance of our skilled instructors—ideal for roasting birthday treats later!
Shelter Building: Get creative and work as a team to build a natural shelter, perfect for some unique birthday photos!
Campfire Cooking: Celebrate with classic campfire fun! Toast marshmallows, bake damper bread, or cook up a treat to share with the group around the fire.
Party Vibes: Split into teams or stick together, to build your own fires and shelters, then come together around a communal fire for stories, laughter, and, of course, marshmallow toasting.
Group Size: With a maximum 1:8 instructor ratio, we will ensure everyone will have the chance to get involved and enjoy all the activities.
Kit: We provide all of the equipment for you to enjoy the session! If you do have your own Bushcraft kit feel free to bring it along.
What do you need to bring?
Clothing: Please wear suitable clothing that you do not mind getting wet and muddy. Securely attached and close toed footwear is required to, so unfortunately no crocs, flip flops or sandals!
Weather: Our sessions will go ahead in all but the most inclement weather, so make sure you bring your waterproofs, a sun hat, and plenty of water to stay hydrated, this way you will be prepared for whatever weather Scotland throws our way.

Will this activity go ahead in the rain?
Yes, our activities will proceed as planned, rain or shine! At Glasgow Outdoor Pursuits, we believe a little rain adds to the adventure and provides an authentic outdoor experience. Our instructors are experienced in managing sessions in all weather conditions, ensuring safety and enjoyment throughout.
We recommend wearing appropriate clothing, such as waterproof jackets and sturdy footwear, to keep comfortable. If conditions become unsafe due to extreme weather, we will inform you of any changes to the schedule.

Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my booking?
We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is as follows:
Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 28 days before the activity date will receive a 100% refund.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 and 28 days before the activity date will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 14 days before the activity date are non-refundable.
However, we’re here to help! If you need to cancel within 14 days of your activity, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer credit for a future booking or reschedule your activity to another date.
